Without a professional tie down system your cargo will bounce up and down and crash both on the floors and into the walls of the trailer, damaging both your cargo and trailer. In some instances your cargo can and will actually shift to one side and turn your trailer over; this has occurred many times!
Our motorcycle trailers have one row of wall mounted C - Rings at 5' high that surround the interior walls of the trailer. There is another row of C - Rings at 3' high that surround the interior walls of the trailer. Sometimes the rings are arranged differently. In addition to this every trailer is equipped with 9-15, 5,000 lb floor mount D-Rings that have unlimited potential. Lack of a tie down system is the sixth reason why some trailers are less costly than others. The cost factor of this superior tie down system is peanuts when you consider all of the damage that will be prevented. |
