Why
should I pay more for an Aero Trailer when I can buy a cheap entry
level trailer for less? Besides, I am only going to use it 8 - 10 times
a year and the rest of the time it will be used for storage and be
parked on the side of my house. Entry level trailers do not have a tie down system. Nor do they have any of the other necessary safety options that all trailers should be equipped with. Consumers that buy a cheap entry level trailer just to save money, do not save money in the long run; instead, they lose money. Very soon after the purchase, a consumer will learn that the trailer has little to no value , with out a Professional Tie Down System, Wall Rings, Drop Jacks, Insulation, V-Nose, Lock System etc. Next, they will make the second biggest mistake. They will rig up a hap hazard, make shift tie down system inside the trailer in an effort to save money again. They will purchase an inadequate wall or floor mount ring set that is at best dangerous and far short of securing motorcycles. Or they will pay a dealer to install a tie down system which is also inadequate and more costly than the World Class Tie Down System that is Standard Equipment in an Aero Trailer. Soon the tie down system fails and there is much damage, disappointment and some times injury. There are too many variables to discuss with reference to the many other calamities that will occur next and in the best interest of moving forward, we will focus on the disposal of the trailer one year later. The following case scenario references a 6 X 12 Trailer. |
The
original purchase price of the cheap entry level trailer appeared to
be a bargain at $3,000.00. The make shift / hap hazard tie down
system and other rigging required later amounted to only $400.00 and
repairs for faulty economical parts were $300.00. The total to
own the cheap entry level wood trailer was $3,700.00. The cost of an
Aero Trailer in comparison was $4,500.00. The owner now lists the cheap entry level trailer with a local news paper for $2,500.00. The paper is loaded with many of the same cheap entry level trailers for even less money. After running the ad for several weeks and being told by scores of people that they can buy the same trailer for less money, the owner lets go for $2,000.00. Note the cheap entry level trailer owner lost $1,700.00. Mean while the owner of an Aero Trailer that purchased his unit the same time as the above referenced trailer owner sells his trailer the first week for $4,700.00. Note the Aero trailer owner received all of his money back, plus an extra $200.00; this was a FREE TRAILER! This story has been told to us, with variations of course, many times over by customers throughout the United States and is simply amazing. There are certain things that you will never save money on in the long run and cheap entry level trailers fall in this category! DON’T DO IT! I have said this many times and I will say it again: You can own an OCEAN LINER or a ROW BOAT for the same price; which one will you choose? Regards, Tony Mancuso |
